Seneca County, Ohio consistently ranks in the top ten percent of all similar counties nationwide in economic development. In the last four years alone, there have been 1500 new jobs and a quarter of a billion in new investment announced. It offers shovel-ready and certified sites in new and established industrial parks in Tiffin and Fostoria, as well as existing and new spec building space (under construction). Several new commercial and residential developments are also currently moving forward. The community also prides itself on providing a pro-business environment, with aggressive incentives and strong support, assisting with everything from employee tax credits to property tax exemptions, from customized worker training and recruitment to expedited and discounted permits.
